This was an expensive way to procure readily-available information.Almost ONE HALF of the book is selected statutes from the Tenn Code Annotated (public laws of TN)… grrrrrrr.There is essentially only one section *specific* to Tennessee, which is about Sales/Excise taxes required to be collected within the state… which is readily available on the state comptroller's office.I only give this 2 stars because it could be helpful to have the TCA while on a remote jobsite without cellular reception… but for the price I could have printed it out myself (legally, it's public information) on approximately 2$ worth of paper. Thanks?
Very easy to read. I read it front to back then took the exam and passed the first time. The testing station actually has a copy for you to borrow for the exam and theirs has quick reference tabs on it, wish I could find them to buy also, very helpful.
this book is not the current edition. make sure you get the 3rd edition as the info has changed... Contractor monetary limits, audited vs reviewed accounts, etc. I did read and use this book for the TN law test and past the first time around, but i also did read the entire TN contractors license application, contractors law and board rules. this book has some misguiding info that pertain to some of the questions in the current TN law test . Recommend you get the 3rd edition
didn't have anything I didn't already know and I think it is wrong in some areas or at least lacking clarification which could lead to misinterpretation
